My name is Eric VanderWall. I’m a follower of Jesus and a pastor in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I am a husband and a father. My wife, Kristeen, and I have been married for fifteen years. God brought us together and is the center of our marriage. Our desire will always be to serve the Lord together in the church, in our community, and at home with our four children. Parenting has been a blessing from God in our lives, filled with many ups and downs along the way. We give much of our time to raising our kids to become lifelong followers of Jesus.
My calling in ministry is to be a non-anxious presence for those seeking God. I enjoy preaching and teaching and will use any opportunity to do so to share the message of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. I love the challenge of crafting a message that is applicable and Bible-centered while connecting with all ages at home, church, school, camp, and on retreats. I also enjoy playing pickleball, exploring the outdoors, and just sitting around on the beach or by a fire.
